Elegant living room with blue walls, a white fireplace, ornate gold-framed mirror, yellow tufted sofa, glass coffee table, and patterned rug.

What it is:

A handsome mansion flat in Maida Vale.

Muses & motivations:

The original inspiration for this apartment was a collection of Georgian Hogarth prints the client had purchased, inspired by a trip to Sir John Soane’s house where ‘The Rake’s Progress’ hangs. We went a little off-piste and the scheme took a Regency direction, the result more beguiling Brighton Pavilion than Soane-esque beauty.
